Prasar Finserv is an AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Distributor and IRDAI Licensed Insurance Advisor operated by Sarika Chawla, based in Delhi, India. We offer mutual fund distribution, insurance advisory, and financial literacy training services.

  • Asset Management Companies (AMCs): If you choose to invest in a mutual fund, your personal and KYC information is shared with the relevant AMC to process your application, as required by SEBI and AMFI regulations.
  • Insurance companies: If you purchase an insurance product through us, your information is shared with the relevant insurer to process your policy application, as required by IRDAI regulations.
  • Regulatory authorities: We may share your information with AMFI, IRDAI, SEBI, or other statutory bodies if required by law or as part of a regulatory audit or investigation.
  • Service partners: We work with select partners for tax consulting (NPMG & Co.) and loan management (MoneySutra). Your information is shared with these partners only with your explicit consent and only to the extent required to deliver the service you have requested.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by a court order, government authority, or any other legal obligation under Indian law.

All third parties with whom we share your data are required to handle it in compliance with applicable regulations and to use it only for the purposes for which it was shared.

5 How Long We Retain Your Information

We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to provide our services and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. Specifically:

  • KYC documents and transaction records are retained for a minimum of 5 years after the end of the business relationship, as required by AMFI and IRDAI regulations.
  • General enquiry data (name, phone, email) is retained for up to 3 years from the date of your last interaction with us, after which it is securely deleted unless you remain an active client.
  • Website usage data is retained for up to 12 months.

Once the retention period expires, your data is deleted or anonymised in a manner that prevents identification.
